What I Really Like About this Plush Futon…
…about this plush futon and chair set is that it’s comfortable enough to lounge on (great for watching TV, playing video games, napping, etc…) yet it can hold its own in a more formal setting like a living room or office space. The upholstery stitching and design actually make these pieces look more like a structured sofa and chair than your typical futon – don’t you think?
The colors (listed below) can work in any traditional, contemporary, modern or rustic setting. In fact, I don’t think that there is a decor style that this futon set wouldn’t work with.
The Futon Upholstery is Soft – but Strong and Durable
Although this convertible futon has extra padding, it’s not all soft. It does have a rigid, sturdy frame that feels solid. This is important, especially if you plan on spending a lot of time on it (soft cushions will do that…). It’s well made, and the extra-cushion-y features bring the price up a little (as you’d expect) to about $525 for both pieces. (Still, at this price I think it’s a bargain.)

One thing to note is that there are only two position settings: up and down. Some other convertible futons have 3 or more positions for reclining, so if you want more options, this futon is not for you. However, if you don’t care about that, here’s another photo of this futon as a lounger…
3 Color Options:
It’s shown in the gray color, but you also have 2 other color options of taupe (like a tan) and dark brown for the futon cushions. These shades are all ideal for not showing scuff marks, dirt smudges or spills – so if you have kids, you can breath easy.
