Actually, this couch offers 3 different positions: sitting, lounging and sleeping. Plus, you can recline each seat back separately to accommodate different preferences – or to create a unique seating arrangement.
Typically, convertible futons don’t make the most comfortable sleepers when you compare them to mattresses. Although the Neely does provide additional cushioning, it does have seams that cross down the middle. Plus, the bed is not adequately wide enough to fit 2 large adults.
In any case, this mid century sofa is definitely versatile and user-friendly, especially if you live in a small home. Not to mention, it weighs under 100 pounds, so it’s easy to move.
I am also a big fan of the extra-plush cushions. They make this sofa cozy, and they contrast nicely against the straight-angle armrests. That said, some customers have mentioned that they wish the couch felt a little firmer.
