Having said that, click-clack futons don’t provide the ideal sleeping surface. For one, they have awkward down the middle and center of the cushioning. And two, they typically offer less cushioning than a traditional coil spring or foam mattress.
For those reasons, I think that this style of sleeper sofa is a better value for people who sit on them more frequently than they sleep on them. In fact, this futon sofa can be a great deal even if you never sleep on it at all.
